It is customary for Malaysian Chinese to give ang pow (red packets) for friends’ or families’ newborn and in return it is customary to give back a meal, a pack of  yellow glutinous rice with chicken curry perhaps, when the baby is full moon, one month old.

A fellow colleague celebrate his baby’s full moon recently and he gave us tart’s coupon in return for our ang pow. The coupon is from Train Coffee, Seberang Jaya, a coffee shop next to Sunway Carnival Mall.

We were out shopping yesterday and went over there to collect the tarts. To our surprise they are such cute little tarts with decorative toppings and different flavors.

What a great idea! Instead of giving the conventional rice, something new for a change.
