Inside one of the restaurant in Sungai Petani (named Bee Ah Tong), saw the chairs and tables there and they reminded me of granny’s house. Aunt M said that may be we need to refurbish them one day. Granny’s chairs are more than 50 years old and still looking looking strong. Only setback is the varnish and paint are coming off bit by bit. The paintings on the chairs are hand-painted and they are imported from France. We can never find another like this, not anywhere else in the world.

Love antique chairs!!

And this one is just like the one in my great granny’s house where we used for dining. Now remain as only memories.

Remembering how grand aunt favorite pastime was to mend broken straps of granny’s bamboo chairs. This one is kind of creative in its own way.
